For those seeking a more affordable service plan, PowerBase provides a 5% discount compared to SDG&E’s electricity generation rates. It has a similar renewable content to the California utility average for customers who want lower costs, predictability in their electricity generation rates and to continue supporting their community-driven, not-for-profit clean energy provider.
You also have the option to opt out of Community Power and return to SDG&E’s electric generation services — but before you do, you should know that Community Power offers service plans that cost less than SDG&E’s.
