Este movimiento estrat\u00e9gico reducir\u00e1 los costes y generar\u00e1 unos $54,1 millones de ahorro en los pr\u00f3ximos nueve a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Autoridad de Financiaci\u00f3n de la Elecci\u00f3n Comunitaria de California (CCCFA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) emiti\u00f3 el bono de $1.000 millones a 30 a\u00f1os \u201cIngresos por proyectos de energ\u00eda limpia\u201d que se espera que ahorre a los clientes de Community Power unos $6,1 millones cada a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cEstos bonos verdes son nuestra herramienta de financiaci\u00f3n n\u00famero uno para mantener los costes bajos para nuestros clientes, y viene con el beneficio a\u00f1adido de ayudarnos a asegurar m\u00e1s energ\u00eda renovable para nuestra regi\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Ditas Yamane, concejal de National City y presidenta del Comit\u00e9 de Finanzas y Gesti\u00f3n de Riesgos de Community Power. \u201cEsta medida de ahorro apoya directamente la misi\u00f3n de Community Power de proporcionar a nuestras comunidades locales energ\u00eda limpia, fiable y asequible\u201d.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Junta autoriz\u00f3 la transacci\u00f3n en su reuni\u00f3n del 26 de junio y el bono se cerr\u00f3 el viernes 25 de julio. Se espera que el ahorro de costes energ\u00e9ticos comience en septiembre y se tendr\u00e1 en cuenta cuando Community Power fije sus tarifas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las transacciones de prepago como este bono permiten al p\u00fablico beneficiarse de la energ\u00eda adquirida a tipos de inter\u00e9s m\u00e1s bajos. Las entidades p\u00fablicas, como Community Power y otros Agregadores de Elecci\u00f3n Comunitaria, tienen la posibilidad de pagar por adelantado los acuerdos de compra de energ\u00eda a largo plazo con estos bonos verdes exentos de impuestos, lo que reduce el coste de la energ\u00eda para los clientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En lugar de pagar la energ\u00eda cada mes como un hogar t\u00edpico, Community Power compra energ\u00eda limpia para a\u00f1os de una sola vez. Al pagar por adelantado y utilizar bonos exentos de impuestos que tienen tipos de inter\u00e9s m\u00e1s bajos que la financiaci\u00f3n privada, el proveedor de energ\u00eda ofrece a Community Power un descuento en el coste de la energ\u00eda. Ese descuento se traduce en millones de ahorro para los clientes locales a lo largo de la vida del contrato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cUtilizar bonos exentos de impuestos para comprar energ\u00eda de proyectos energ\u00e9ticos es una parte estrat\u00e9gica de los esfuerzos de Community Power para traer energ\u00eda limpia y competitiva en costes a la regi\u00f3n\u201d, declar\u00f3 Karin Burns, directora general de Community Power. \u201cNos permite asegurar fuentes renovables a tarifas predecibles y m\u00e1s asequibles\u201d.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funciona as\u00ed: Cuando Community Power suscribe un contrato a largo plazo para recibir energ\u00eda limpia de un proveedor de energ\u00eda sujeto a impuestos, como un parque solar a gran escala gestionado por un promotor privado de energ\u00edas renovables, la CCCFA emitir\u00e1 los bonos exentos de impuestos, que financian un pago anticipado de la energ\u00eda que se suministrar\u00e1 en el transcurso del contrato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ahorro se produce cuando el proveedor privado de energ\u00eda utiliza los fondos de los bonos y, como resultado, proporciona un descuento a Community Power basado en la diferencia entre las tarifas imponibles y las exentas de impuestos.
