Our agency&#8217;s financial responsibilities remain unchanged, as does our commitment to meeting them.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manglicmot joined Community Power in January 2022 as one of its first 20 employees, following eight years at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, where he served as Finance Director. He was promoted to Community Power\u2019s Director of Finance in June 2024 and served as the agency\u2019s interim CFO for three months earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During Manglicmot\u2019s tenure, Community Power has built a strong financial foundation while continuing to deliver cleaner electricity at competitive rates. He has led or supported efforts to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build Community Power into a financially stable, investment-grade public agency with an \u201cA\u201d credit rating faster than any other Community Choice Aggregator in California;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver cleaner electricity at competitive rates while lowering costs for customers in multiple years;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Earn the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association for two years;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete three clean energy prepayment bond transactions designed to lower long-term power costs, including two approximately $1 billion transactions expected to save customers more than $12 million annually;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build Community Power\u2019s financial reserves to nearly $700 million; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish a Rate Stabilization Reserve to help protect customers from energy market volatility and future rate increases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cTimothy has dedicated his career to public service and has played an important role supporting the Board to bring customers lower electricity generation rates while creating a resilient financial position for the young agency,\u201d said Community Power Board Vice Chair and National City Councilmember Ditas Yamane. \u201cWhile this is a new role for Timothy, he is no stranger to the needs of Community Power\u2019s customers and communities it serves.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manglicmot was born and raised in Chula Vista, where he now lives with his wife and three children.
