{"id":31138,"date":"2026-07-10T09:19:51","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T16:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sdcommunitypower.org\/?p=31138"},"modified":"2026-07-10T09:21:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T16:21:00","slug":"san-diego-community-power-launches-effort-to-secure-more-renewable-energy-and-battery-storage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sdcommunitypower.org\/zh\/san-diego-community-power-launches-effort-to-secure-more-renewable-energy-and-battery-storage\/","title":{"rendered":"San Diego Community Power \u542f\u52a8\u4e3e\u63aa\uff0c\u65e8\u5728\u786e\u4fdd\u83b7\u5f97\u66f4\u591a\u53ef\u518d\u751f\u80fd\u6e90\u548c\u7535\u6c60\u50a8\u80fd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5723\u8fed\u6208 -<\/strong> San Diego Community Power is seeking long-term renewable energy and storage contracts through a competitive bidding process to help achieve its goal of serving customers with 100% renewable energy by 2035 while securing the best value for ratepayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community Power issued this week an All Source Request for Offers (RFO) for renewable energy, energy storage projects and \u201cclean firm power,\u201d which are resources capable of providing clean energy 24 hours a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cAt a time when families across San Diego are getting squeezed by rising costs, we are taking control of our clean energy future \u2014 with affordability, reliability and accountability at the center,\u201d said Terra Lawson-Remer, chair of Community Power\u2019s Board of Directors and chair of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. \u201cLong-term energy contracts strengthen our ability to provide customers with clean power while keeping electricity rates stable and competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since launching service in 2021, Community Power has procured more than 3.4 gigawatts of renewable energy and energy storage capacity through long-term contracts that support reliability, affordability and progress toward the agency\u2019s renewable goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> This RFO marks the agency\u2019s first major power procurement solicitation since earning a public credit rating from S&amp;P Global Ratings \u2014 an investment-grade \u201cA\u201d issuer credit rating with a stable outlook. This rating matches the highest credit ratings received by similar community choice energy programs in California and reflects Community Power\u2019s strong financial position and long-term stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cStrong partnerships are at the heart of every successful clean energy project,\u201d said Community Power Chief Commercial Officer Gordon Samuel. &#8220;Community Power has demonstrated its commitment to thoughtful, long-term planning and responsible financial management, and we are well-positioned to support the next generation of renewable energy and storage projects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community Power is a community choice energy program that gives customers an option to run their homes and businesses on higher levels of renewable power at competitive rates.
