*Your average cost may vary. This estimate is based on the average monthly usage of 334 kWh and the TOUDR1 rate schedule which is not reflective of all residential rates. The rates above reflect SDG&E rates effective Mar. 1, 2024 and SDCP rates effective Feb. 1, 2024.

San Diego Community Power serves customers in the Cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, Encinitas, La Mesa, Imperial Beach and National City, as well as the unincorporated communities of San Diego County.

Estimate and Compare

Estimate and compare what your electric bill may look like with our services using our Bill Comparison Calculator. Compare our PowerBase, PowerOn and Power100 service levels and understand how our services compare to SDG&E’s.

To get started, make sure to have a copy of your SDG&E bill handy.

Unfortunately, our Bill Comparison Calculator is unable to accommodate Net Energy Metering (NEM) and Solar Billing Plan (SBP) customers with negative usage due to unpredictable variables (weather, usage, consumption and generation patterns, etc.) that influence your monthly costs and benefits as a solar customer. The Bill Comparison Calculator also does not take into consideration CARE/FERA discounts for all rate schedules.

Change Your Service Plan

Please note that most customers are automatically enrolled in our standard PowerOn service, with the exception of the City of Encinitas, who voted to automatically enroll customers within its city limits in our premium Power100 service.

If you would like to change your service plan, please have a copy of your SDG&E bill handy as you will need your SDG&E account number. Please be sure to input only the first 12 digits of your account number. Include any leading zeros and omit any spaces.
