IN THE NEWS: San Diego’s government-run utility promises better rates than SDG&E in 2023

Under its new rates, the county’s biggest CCA says its customers will pay almost $2 less per month.

The community choice energy program that buys electricity from renewable sources for six cities and parts of San Diego County adopted its 2023 rate schedule on Monday, which promises to be a couple of bucks less expensive per month than what San Diego Gas & Electric charges.
