Community Power’s Local Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Request for Information (Local RFI) allows Community Power to partner with developers on new and existing, wholesale renewable energy projects within San Diego and Imperial Counties.
By joining the Power Network, organizations establish a formal relationship with Community Power. Qualified Power Network partners are eligible to respond to relevant solicitations to perform services on behalf of San Diego Community Power, such as outreach support and translation services.

Community Power is requesting proposals for long-term, California Renewables Portfolio Standard (“RPS”) eligible renewable energy products with initial deliveries commencing during the 2021, 2022 and/or 2023 calendar years. At this time, only proposals for long-term (delivery terms of 10 years, or longer) Portfolio Content Category 1 (“PCC1” or “Bucket 1”) or PCC2 products will be accepted. Prospective respondents are encouraged to carefully review the attached bid requirements and offer form before preparing a response. Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted electronically to the following email address, energybids@sdcommunitypower.org, no later than 5:00 P.M. PT on July 10, 2020. All proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00 PT on July 24, 2020.
