About San Diego Community Power:
San Diego Community Power is a not-for-profit public agency providing cleaner energy to the San Diego region. We serve nearly 1 million customers in the Cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, Encinitas, Imperial Beach, La Mesa and National City, as well as the unincorporated communities of San Diego County.
About the Community Advisory Committee:
Our Community Advisory Committee, or CAC, is made up of two community representatives from each of our seven member agencies, who provide guidance to San Diego Community Power’s Board of Directors and contribute to the programs bringing cleaner energy to the San Diego region.
Applicants must be residents (property owners or renters), business owners, employees or representatives of a community-based organization within the jurisdiction they are interested in representing. After their appointment is approved by our Board of Directors, each member may serve up to two, three-year terms.
San Diego Community Power accepts applications on a rolling basis as vacancies may open throughout the year.
Currently, we are looking for applicants to fill the following vacancies: the City of Chula Vista and the County of San Diego (unincorporated).
