One big advantage of being a San Diego Community Power customer is the choice you have about how clean your electricity will be. Customers who enroll with us automatically benefit from the high renewable content of our PowerOn standard service, which provides a high level of renewable energy at 50%. Those who want to go all-in can upgrade to our Power100 service level for electricity that’s completely free of fossil fuels.

PowerOn is a significant emissions saver—it’s 50% renewable plus 5% greenhouse gas free. Priced competitively to what you were paying before, yet higher in renewables and lower in carbon than the power you’ve been buying from SDG&E. PowerOn is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, simply and effortlessly.

Power100 is our most effective tool to help you reduce your carbon footprint—100% renewable and 100% carbon-free! Priced at only $0.0075/kWh (less than a penny per kilowatt-hour) more than our PowerOn standard service level. Power100 allows you to virtually eliminate your greenhouse gas production from electricity use.

NEM customers will be enrolled in SDCP service at the time of their annual true up with SDG&E.

Estimate & Compare

With our handy comparison tool, you have the power to estimate and compare what your bill may look like with our PowerOn and Power100 service. Understand how our cleaner service compares to SDG&E’s standard service on a monthly basis. To get started, make sure to have a copy of your SDG&E bill handy.

Due to the many variables that ultimately determine your monthly costs and benefits as a solar customer, or Net Energy Metering (NEM) customer, including weather, usage, consumption/generation patterns, and the efficacy of your solar system, the bill comparison tool is not able to accommodate comparisons for NEM customers with negative usage.
