As a not-for-profit public agency known as a Joint Powers Authority, San Diego Community Power is committed to transparency. Our Board of Directors, consisting of one elected official from each of the seven communities we serve, meets monthly, and all Board meetings are open to the public.

The Board of Directors typically meets at 5 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Special meetings may also be held as needed.
The Finance and Risk Management Committee (FRMC) typically meets at 3 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) typically meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.

Board meetings are held at 5 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month (*with the exception of November and December) at the Don L. Nay Port Administration Boardroom (3165 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, CA).
FRMC meetings are held at 3 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month (*with the exception of November and December) at the City of Chula Vista Council Chambers (276 Fourth Ave., Chula Vista, CA).
CAC meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month (*with the exception of December) at the Don L. Nay Port Administration Training Room (3165 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, CA).
As a not-for-profit public agency, community input is integral to Community Power’s mission. We value and appreciate feedback from our local communities. All public meetings have dedicated time for public comment, and we invite you to participate by:
Community Power Board and Committee meetings are generally held in-person. Members of the public are welcome to attend and address the Board or Committee during the public comment segment of the agenda. Members of the public can watch or participate in Community Power’s meetings remotely through a computer, mobile device or dial-in number. For more information on how to participate remotely, please view the upcoming meeting’s agenda.
Members of the public can provide written comments. Written public comments must be submitted to ClerkoftheBoard@SDCommunityPower.org by noon on the day of the meeting to ensure that the Board or Committee members have ample time to review. At Community Power, we value transparency. Pursuant to California Public Records Act California Government Code § 7920.000, members of the public can inspect and/or obtain copies of any identifiable public record. If you would like to submit a Public Records Act request, please email ClerkoftheBoard@SDCommunityPower.org.
Verbal interpretation services may be made available upon request at regularly scheduled Board of Directors and other publicly noticed meetings. If you are in need of these services, please email ClerkoftheBoard@SDCommunityPower.org at least five business days prior to the meeting.
Community Power Board and Committee meetings comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act. Individuals with a disability who require a modification or accommodation, including auxiliary aids or services, to participate in the public meeting may call 888-382-0169 or email ClerkOfTheBoard@SDCommunityPower.org. Requests for disability-related modifications or accommodations require varying lead times and should be provided at least 72 hours in advance of the public meeting.
